What Is The Church?

J. C. Choate has spent his life in foreign mission work, introducing God's message to people who have not had opportunity to hear it before. He has written numerous study books, which have been printed and distributed in many countries where they continue to sow the seed and to win souls.

Throughout the world there are many "churches." They wear an endless variety of names; they were begun by various religious leaders at different times in the past several hundred years. The creeds (verbal or written) of these churches require specific things for membership and recognition of faithfulness. While we respect the sincerity of all who call themselves followers of Christ, we must echo the words of our Lord when He said, "I will build my church" Matthew 16:18, a the words of the apostle Paul who warned, "...if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" Galatians 1:9. The lessons in this book were designed to answer the many questions one might ask concerning What Is The Church? In reality, it is such a simple topic, and easy to be understood, but Satan has deliberately created massive confusion in order to keep people out of God's family.
