About the book...

In response to frequently asked questions concerning the biblical role of women in this modern and' ever-changing world, the author has developed these studies.
Are the restrictions placed on women in the Scriptures based on culture? Is it permissible for a woman to lead public prayer to teach a mixed adult class, to provide public leadership in worship if an elder has authorized her to do so? Is a woman required to cover her head in worship?
These and many other questions are considered in the light of the scriptures.

About the author...
Betty Burton Choate, wife of J.C. Choate, has worked beside her husband with the church in the US and in Asian mission fields for more than four decades. She has written three books concerning their mission efforts, three volumes of poetry, and iil1IPerous articles for brotherhood publications, as well as for their own publications, The Voice of Truth International (quarterly magazine) and World Evangelism (report newspaper).
