Back To The Bible Study
Since the church began, there have been multitudes of teachers and preachers who have tried
to lead people to Jesus. Just the same, there have been many, maybe more who have led people
away from the Lord. It may have been something simple at first, nothing noticeable. It may
have been something that seemed quite practical at the time. Yet, here we are nearly two
millenia from Christ's first church on the day of Pentecost and there is no way of knowing
the number of churches that claim to belong to Jesus.
The point of this study is to go back to the Bible and to question everything. If we go back
to the Bible, we can know what we need to do to please God. If we go back to the Bible, we
can know if there is anything that needs to change in our lives or even at the church where
we attend. We would be able then also to help others draw near to God.
Each of the 6 lessons that follow are based on an effort to go "Back To The Bible" for this
purpose: Live FOR Jesus so we may live WITH Him. Each page will have verses to read, blanks
to fill in and a summary to read. You can click on the references to scripture to find the
answer to each of the blanks of the statments. Some words will be highlighted in order to
provide commentary on a particular point.
