North Texas Teen Challenge!
September, 2006
Dear North Texas Brothers and Sisters,
NTTC:
We are looking forward to our next GREAT area wide event on September 30, 2006! (Saturday Only!) This is our second annual North Texas Teen Challenge! We may not have everyone on our mailing list that will want to attend, so please feel free to pass this information on to others who you think might be interested. Please send us a note to let us know that you and your youth group are interested in coming.
COSTS:
We have CHANGED our plan from Camp Copass to keeping our Youth Rally at the Lake Dallas church building on Saturday ONLY. So, the Cost will $15. That will cover you for the T-shirt, and eating! It is not a bad deal at all for everything else you get on that great day that we will have!
THEME:
The Theme for this year will be "Life and Faith." It is from the familiar text:
1 Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
SPEAKER:
 We plan to have Scott Sheppard from Midland, TX as our speaker. He is well known to us because of our encounters with him at Camp Blue Haven in New Mexico each summer. If you have not heard him speak to the youth, you are in for a real treat!
What Can YOU Do?
1) Don't forget to identify your congregation to us and give us an idea of how many might be coming. The SOONER the better. End of July at the latest and Register ON or BEFORE August 15th. 2) Put NTTC on your Youth group and congregational calendar!
